Jay Duplass and Mark Duplass on Making Films

Filmmakers (The Puffy Chair, Cyrus and the upcoming Jeff, Who Lives at Home) Jay Duplass and Mark Duplass were interviewed by Film Courage just prior to the release of their latest film, The Do-Deca-Pentathlon, the story of two grown brothers who secretly compete in a homemade Olympics during a family reunion. The Do-Deca-Pentathlon is available on VOD today (June 26th, 2012) and will be in select theaters on July 6th.

Interesting to hear indie film icons, the DuPlass brothers, talking about developing an idea, how they handle envy, and the challenge of making a really good film.

Film Courage also interviewed the actors in The Do-Deca-Pentathlon - Mark Kelly, Jennifer LaFleur and Steve Zissis - about working with the Duplass brothers.

For more about The Do-Deca Pentathlon - a film the DuPlass brothers shot shortly after Baghead (2008), but only got around to releasing four years later - here is a link to a July 2, 2012 IndieWire interview.
