Netflix Head Says: ISPs Want to Kill Web Freedom, Suck All Profits
Reed Hastings, CEO of Netflix, has called out the Internet Service Providers, saying their moves to get Congress to do away with the regulations that currently protect network neutrality are based on bogus arguments. According to Hastings, there is clear evidence that the ISPs can handle streaming video and there is no reason that pay-per-gigabyte (which Hastings fears will kill the movie streaming business) is economically necessary.
