Get to Know Online Users - What They View and How They View It

Just creating a website or posting a video on YouTube isn't enough.

It's tough to get people to click on your content and, if you can thread that needle, their attention span is hair-raisingly short. For example, Hal Varian at Google reports that the average person online spends no more than seventy seconds a day reading online news.

What makes your content stand out? Assuming you can overcome the noise and widespread willful ignorance, what video will hold an audience that sometimes seems to have the attention span of a small dog chasing its tail?
