Former owners of Miramax, Harvey and Bob Weinstein, may have failed in their efforts to regain control of the brand they named after their parents (Miriam and Max). According to a July 8th, 2010 article in the Wrap "Los Angeles billionaire Ronald Tutor and his partners Morgan Creek, Colony Capital and David Bergstein have reached agreement to buy Miramax from The Walt Disney Company... The sale price is believed to be $675 million.”
