Character Magic
Cliff Curtis is a chameleon.
Born in New Zealand of Māori descent, Cliff Curtis has carved out an admirable acting career in Hollywood depicting a remarkably wide range of ethnicities.
You may recognize him now. But his work in films like The Piano, Once Were Warriors, Training Day, The Insider, Runaway Jury, and Live Free or Die Hard has been so good that (if you're like me) you might not have realized it was all just one actor disappearing inside all those diverse characters.
