Progress Has Been Made On A Self-Healing Elastomer: Cyberdyne Systems Still Working on Skynet


The T-1000's self-healing mimetic "liquid metal" poly-alloy (Terminator fans know what I'm talking about - if you're not familiar with the technology, check out the clip below) may have just gotten a little bit closer. Spanish scientists have posted a video (above) to show their progress on a real world self-healing polymer that spontaneously and independently repairs itself at room temperature in about 2 hours.
