Derek Van Gorder and Otto Stockmeier used models and inexpensive tools to produce C (299,792 km/s), a sci-fi short about a mutiny on an interplanetary warship.

A January 30, 2013 post to Wired describes how the filmmakers avoided CGI or greenscreen in the making of C (299,792 km/s). The sets and props were all handmade and filmed using inexpensive camera tricks including miniature photography, split-screen, and stop-animation.
