On March 17th, 2011, JayBaer wrote a blogpost that started with a question (should an advertiser "hire a company to consult on their Facebook page in isolation?") and ended with an apparent qualified endorsement of working with a specialist to help with your Facebook ads.
Really? A specialist for Facebook ads?
Is it silo-ed thinking to hire a Facebook ads specialist? Or are the paid ads on Facebook (a new form of advertising that lacks a lot of data to show how it works - or even if it works at all) potentially so effective and unique that a specialist is desirable?
