A Machine To See With

The video above is from Banff in 2010, and you've missed it... But, if you're near Brighton, England this month (September 2011), you might want to check out A Machine To See With at the Brighton Digital Festival. A Machine To See With is an interactive experience that takes the conventions of a heist film to another level: "It takes part in the streets of Brighton and is played through your mobile phone and your mind! Book and sign up with your mobile number and then on the day, you receive a call, arrive at your allotted street corner and receive instructions. From hiding money to meeting up with a partner in crime, it's up to you to deal with a bank robbery and its aftermath." A Machine To See With is the work of Blast Theory, a Brighton based group of artists known for exploring the power of interactive media.
