William Joyce and co-director Brandon Oldenburg and their collaborators at Moonbot Studios, their Shreveport, LA company specializing in multi-platform storytelling, created “The Fantastic Flying Books of Mr. Morris Lessmore,” a narrative app for the iPad.
As you can see from their trailer, “The Fantastic Flying Books of Mr. Morris Lessmore” is an alternative storytelling experience that blends elements of a traditional storybook, with the power of the iPad to play animated film and to integrate user-interactivity (i.e., the reader can animate a page with the touch of their finger).
