Hollywood on the Danube or Why (Even with US Tax Incentives) Producers are Flocking to Budapest


In the July 2nd, 2010 NY Times, Dan Bilefsky writes about the conditions that are attracting US filmmakers to Budapest, Hungary. Even with generous tax credit schemes, like the one recently enacted by Florida, film producers will always go where the deal is just a little bit better, especially if there are trained crews, infrastructure, and locations that make a producer's life easier.
