Why Net Neutrality Matters for Entrepreneurial Filmmakers


In this June 11th, 2010 article in PC World several key Internet investors explain why broadband providers can't be allowed to decide which Web content and applications are provided to their subscribers. As you know from previous posts here, many indie filmmakers support net neutrality rules. Net neutrality would prevent broadband providers from selectively discriminating against indie filmmaker Web content. According to one of the venture capitalist behind Etsy.com, Foursquare and Meetup, without net neutrality, a service like Twitter "would never have seen the light of day."
