A iPhone Documentary About the Syrian Revolution Shows How Access to Motion Picture Production and Distribution is Changing Journalism and Filmmaking



The 25 minute documentary film on this page was shot inside war-torn Syria and recorded on an iPhone.

According to an April 3rd, 2012 Mashable article by Sonia Paul, an anonymous Al-Jazeera reporter has created this film using technology that is small, portable, and - most importantly - already in the hands of millions of people.

Now that films can be secretly shot, edited, uploaded, and viewed - revealing conditions almost anywhere on the globe - how will the relationship between rulers and the governed change?
