Rachelle Gardner is a literary agent (with over 100 book deals between authors and publishers to her credit in the last 5 years) who has something to say about the hype surrounding ebooks. In an April 10th, 2012 blogpost, Rachelle Gardner examines whether "enhanced ebooks" (texts for mobile devices like the Kindle and iPad with motion pictures and apps built in) really are the future. In particular, Ms. Gardner questions whether ebooks are inherently more "immersive" than an old school book.
