MTV Breathes New Life Into Music Videos

Music-videos used to be an important platform where artists (musicians and filmmakers) could experiment and get recognition. 25 years ago music-videos gave many of today's biggest filmmakers their start (that's a 1985 David Fincher video above). According to a Nov. 4th, 2010 online post in New York Magazine, MTV New Media topper David Gale has plans to resurrect that era by financing a new crop of music-videos.
