On the Fence About VR? A Swinging Light Saber Experience - Star Wars Tattooine? - May Be the HTC Vive Game You're Looking For

A leaked trailer on Industrial Light & Magic’s YouTube channel (actually, my first look was only 7 furtive screen grabs - that's one of the images above - allegedly captured before the video was set to private) were the first any of us knew of a new Star Wars VR experience.

Even that first 7-screen-shot tease was more than enough to set the web abuzz. 

And now there is an archived OFFICIAL VERSION [released on March 14th, 2016, after the fan clamor!] version of the "Star Wars Tattooine" trailer circulating online:

Even though Yoda might not approve ("Hmph! Adventure. Heh! Excitement. Heh! A Jedi craves not these things"), speculation about a Star Wars ‘cinematic virtual reality experiment’ has spread among fan-boys and girls far and wide.

And - once you've had your hands on the wireless controllers that come with the HTC Vive - the fever dream of swinging your own light saber on Tatooine may not seem that reckless.
