The latest Pew Research Center data (US survey conducted between November 14 and December 9, 2012 on landline and cell phones in English and in Spanish) suggests that older people use social media less than younger users (and that pattern has remained fairly stable since 2005), although there is evidence of a recent (temporary?) drop in social media use in younger users (see the chart below, which shows almost 10% fewer 18-29 year olds reporting use of social networking sites since their last survey in Aug. 2012)...
