Videos Embedded in Online Maps: Myblocknyc.com

According to this Business Wire report, there is a newly launched online map of NY City where (soon) users can watch videos associated with all the different blocks of the city. These videos will be crowd-sourced.

Myblocknyc.com (described as "the first video mapping website that allows users to share and explore personal video accounts of life in New York City") is just launching now. But soon maps of NYC (and everywhere else) will be available on computers and mobile devices with all sorts of videos embedded in the map. This development should be of interest to online filmmakers - because soon storytelling will include maps with clickable video - making the maps that are interactive video storytelling platform. Each user can have their own story experience within a world of videos.
