Fulfillment: How Filmmakers Can Manage the Relationship With DVD Customers

Jeff Rosen from Breakthrough Distribution - who helps clients replicate their DVDs and connect with fulfillment companies - wrote a guest post for Jon Reiss's blog, outlining a few of the options available to filmmakers who want to make revenue from DVD sales and haven't sold those rights to a traditional distribution company. As Jeff Rosen observes: "If your sales volume is low and/or you want to maximize the amount you make per sale, fulfilling from your office or home is the most cost-effective option." But even then there are options (for example Jeff Rosen's post covers a variety of choices for DVD replication). And you may want to hire a reliable third party to handle all aspects of fulfillment.
