Interactive Content: DJ Qbert's Extraterrestria Album Includes Artwork That Doubles as a DJ Controller

This video is a demonstration of interactive album artwork from DJQBert.

The packaging for his late 2014 album includes a working controller that connects via bluetooth to an app (available for iOS and OSx).

Novalia's printed MIDI tech allows the printed artwork to function as a console, allowing the owner of the album to scratch, etc.

It's not a professional's tool, but isn't that the point. In the New World the previously passive consumer is increasingly finding ways to interact with and create their own content.
