Dragon Blade

Set for release in Feb. 2015 (in time for the Chinese New Year Holiday), the historical epic Dragon Blade was shot on location in China (the city of Dunhuang and the Gobi Desert) and features a multinational cast including John Cusack, Jackie Chan, Adrien Brody and South Korea's Choi Si-won (from the K-pop band Super Junior).

According to a June 15th, 2014 report in the Hollywood Reporter, Dragon Blade's funding (US$65 million?) came from 'Sparkle Roll Media Corporation, Huayi Brothers Media, Shanghai Film Group, Home Media & Entertainment Fund, Tencent Video and Beijing Cultural Assets Chinese Film and Television Fund.'
