Andrew Pilkington Pursues His Filmmaking Dream

On a day when I was feeling sorry for myself (my Mac's power cord has decided to quit and it's Saturday and I don't know if there is a store that will provide a new one via Apple Care in Taiwan) a video about University of Rhode Island student and filmmaker Andrew Pilkington put my frustrations into perspective.

I talk a lot about the democratization of filmmaking - and how outsiders no longer need permission to make and circulate their films.  Andrew isn't just talking about it.  He's showing the way.
