Gumroad: Sell Your Film (And Related Stuff) Online
Filmmakers who've been discouraged from selling their content online - because of the time, effort and money involved in creating a direct sales portal - have a new option to consider: Gumroad should make online sales easier.
The principle behind Gumroad is that selling our stuff should be as simple as sharing a link. In other words, Gumroad seamlessly integrates the social experience of telling your friends, fans and followers about what you're up to (e.g., on Facebook, Twitter or via email) with a link they can share and click on to reach an easy place to buy your content.
Gumroad supports all major credit cards and some debit cards. That includes Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, JCB, and Diners Club cards.
Gumroad's cut is 5% + 25¢ of each transaction. For example: If you sell a digital video for $10, the fee is $0.75 and $9.25 is deposited into your account.
Thanks to Lance Weiler for the link.
