"04": Mid-East Broadcaster Re-Ups Interactive TV Show

MBC4, a Mid East TV broadcasting company (that rebroadcasts American content like 90210 and 30 Rock), has ordered additional episodes of "04" - a show about four ambitious young housemates in Dubai that allows users to interact with characters via social media (e.g., live chat via Google Hangout, uploaded YouTube videos, etc.).

According to a March 5th, 2012 blogpost by Michael Pickard, writing for C21 Media, the audience for this show about young professionals has been enthusiastic about using social media tools, for example, about 500,000 viewers have visited the Zero4Channel on YouTube looking for more "04" content and a chance to interact.
