For almost 25 years, Janet Murray has been a thought-leader for novelists, playwrights and filmmakers experimenting with the 21st century tools for storytelling. Her 1998 book Hamlet on the Holodeck: The Future of Narrative in Cyberspace (published while Prof. Murray was director of the Laboratory for Advanced Technology in the Humanities at MIT) remains a landmark text.
On February 20th, 2012 another iconic figure in the New World of storytelling, Prof. Henry Jenkins, published a two part interview with his longtime "thought partner" Prof. Murray on his blog. Here are links to Part 1 and Part 2.
