Anyone with $5 - no subscription or commercials - can watch an uncensored version of Louis's latest standup comedy. This form of self-distribution - which admittedly builds upon fame and a fan-base built through traditional media outlets - is the dream of many frustrated indie filmmakers: "Why should I go through a cable network when I can just give it directly to the people who want to see it? It’s so much easier.”
