Cinema Conservancy: New Free Resource for Filmmakers

According to an August 12th, 2011 article in indieWIRE, several independent film producers are banding together to form the Cinema Conservancy, a new FREE resource for information-sharing about legal, union, copyright, delivery and other production-related issues. Although the site is not yet active (as of Aug. 14th, 2011) you can receive updates via Facebook.

Thanks to Hunter Gray and Tyler Brodie (and others) for their work on the Cinema Conservancy, to Ted Hope for spreading the word about the potential of this crowdsourced tool, and even to Old World stalwart Variety for having the insight (and paid reporters) to scoop most bloggers to write about the Cinema Conservancy's proposed wiki.
