The Life and Times of Sneezing Baby Panda

According to a June 30th, 2011 Hollywood Reporter story, the Australian wildlife documentarians, Lesley Hammond and Jenny Walsh, whose 1999 film about the giant pandas of China included a sneezing Baby Panda, are now turning the story of that infant ailuropoda melanoleuca with the stunning sternutation into a feature film. The $1.3 million mockumentary, set to start shooting in China in October, will "follow an Australian zoologist whose zoo faces financial difficulties she thinks she might solve if she travels to China to save the black and white fuzzy sneezer whose (real life) video clip still gets more than 150,000 hits per day." Thanks to filmmaker Marc Cassilli for catching this item about the (unlikely?) birth of a feature (perhaps not so unlikely, when you consider the Youtube video already has over 106 million views).
