Content Curation Questions


When everyone is a media outlet, and people (like me) are sifting through, selecting and organizing the content that is available for free online, how are we going to navigate the business, legal and ethical issues around attribution, re-purposing, and editorializing? Steve Rosenbaum, the CEO of Magnify.net, has written a short blogpost for Mashable.com that raises some of the questions confronting curators. Specifically, what are the responsibilities we have when we repost or link? What rules should govern our relationship with the content creators and the audience?
