It's still in beta, and the maker hasn't made any claims about the video mode, but Android App developer Chainfire's release of a new application that makes Android smartphones (or tablets) a controller for the Canon EOS DSLR cameras is an intriguing development (a cheaper way of getting a larger format screen out of these small devices?).
